You,me and the sun

I saw the sun this morning
As I drove home from work today
It was a beautiful orange ball
Large and rising in the East
Hovering above us all

I then began to think of you
And needed to share this wonderful view
Knowing that the more I looked I would see
This wonderful sight brightening
Everyones day with warmth and light

And the more I began to think of you
Of your affection and loving and caring
And of how my love for you was growing even more immense
Like the sun as it changed colours and size
Into a fiery ball of brilliant light so intense

Baby, my dear thank you for loving me
And thank you to infinity for letting me love you too
For sure like the sun’s rising and setting
I know that our love will be always
Continuous, as brilliant and warming with no pretense
